Privacy Policy
AKA Interactive LLC
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
Overview
AKA Interactive LLC ("we", "us", or "our") develops experimental interactive applications and games.
We prioritize simplicity, transparency, and responsible use of data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your choices.
Many of our apps do not require accounts. Account-related collection applies only to apps that offer sign-in.
Information We Collect
We aim to collect only what is necessary to operate and improve our applications.
1. Gameplay and Interaction Data
We may collect gameplay and interaction data, including, but not limited to:
- in-game actions and decisions
- progression and outcomes
- session timing and frequency
- feature usage patterns
- performance metrics
This data is used to:
- improve gameplay balance and design
- evaluate features and mechanics
- power iterative improvements to user experience
Some data may be linked to pseudonymous or technical identifiers (for example device identifiers). Depending on your jurisdiction, this may be considered personal data.
We do not use this data to learn your real-world identity unless you provide it (for example through an account feature, where offered).
Many of our games store core save/progress locally on your device and do not routinely upload save/progress to our servers unless a feature explicitly does so.
Some of our apps may transmit gameplay and interaction telemetry to AKA Interactive systems to help us improve features, balance, and reliability. This telemetry is focused on product improvement and typically uses minimal identifiers and technical signals (for example event names, timing, feature usage, and diagnostics). Where offered, you can disable telemetry collection in the app’s Settings. Turning this off stops future collection and upload from that device; previously stored data may remain on-device until cleared/uninstalled.
2. Device and Technical Data
We may collect:
- device type and model
- operating system version
- app version
- crash logs and diagnostics
- performance and stability data
This helps us maintain reliability and performance.
We may use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and stability diagnostics in release builds. Where offered, you can disable anonymous crash reporting in the app’s Settings, which stops new Crashlytics reports from being sent from that device. Previously stored crash data may still be retained by providers according to their policies. Learn more: Privacy and Security in Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics docs.
3. Account and Login Information (if applicable)
Some of our apps may offer accounts or login features. If you create an account or log in, we may collect:
- email address
- account identifiers
- authentication tokens
- basic profile information (if provided)
This data is used to:
- authenticate users
- save progress or preferences
- enable cross-device experiences
We do not sell or publicly expose account information.
4. Analytics Data
We may use analytics services (including Google services, where applicable) to understand usage patterns and improve our products.
This may include:
- session duration
- feature engagement
- general location (country or region level)
Where offered, you can disable analytics or telemetry collection in the app’s Settings. (See “Gameplay and Interaction Data” above for how turning off telemetry affects future collection/upload.)
5. Advertising Data (if applicable)
If ads are enabled, we may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
These services may collect:
- device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
- ad interaction data
- approximate location
- usage signals for ad personalization
These services may use device identifiers, SDK signals, and similar technologies. You can typically control ad personalization through your device settings.
Consent (EEA/UK/CH): In some regions (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent or preference choices where required before ads are served. UMP may process device and app identifiers, IP address, language/region, and interactions with consent messages so Google and its partners can determine whether and how ads may be shown. When required, the app may show a “Privacy choices” option that opens Google-provided privacy controls.
Learn more about Google’s practices: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and AdMob privacy guidance.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- operate and maintain our applications
- improve gameplay and user experience
- analyze behavior and system performance
- develop new features and experiments
- serve advertisements (if enabled)
- authenticate users and manage accounts (if applicable)
We do not sell personal data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share data with trusted third-party providers that help operate our services, including:
- analytics providers (including Google services, where applicable)
- cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- crash reporting services (including Google Firebase Crashlytics, where applicable)
- authentication services (if applicable)
- advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob)
In addition, some apps may transmit telemetry to AKA Interactive systems for product improvement, where described in-app and controllable through Settings when offered.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to:
- provide and improve our services
- support development and analysis
- comply with legal obligations
Gameplay, telemetry, and analytics data may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form for longer-term analysis. Crash/analytics/advertising data processed by third parties may be retained according to those providers’ policies.
Your Choices
Depending on your device and platform, you may be able to:
- limit ad personalization
- reset or disable advertising identifiers
- control app permissions
- disable telemetry or analytics collection in Settings (where offered)
- disable anonymous crash reporting in Settings (where offered)
- uninstall the app to stop data collection from that device
Disabling telemetry/analytics does not necessarily disable advertising or Google’s ad-related processing if ads are enabled; ad consent and ad preferences are managed via UMP and/or your device controls where applicable.
Uninstalling the app stops new collection from that device, but third-party providers (such as Google) may retain previously received data according to their policies.
If accounts are enabled, you may contact us to request account deletion.
Where required, you may also see “Privacy choices” in-app for Google-managed ad consent controls.
Your Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, contact us at privacy@aka-interactive.com. We may ask you to verify your request and will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights (subject to certain exceptions) to request that we disclose, access, correct, or delete certain personal information we collect, and to opt out of certain “sales” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal data in the conventional sense; however, California’s definitions can be broader than common usage.
To make a request, contact us at privacy@aka-interactive.com. We may verify your request and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
International Transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live (including the United States). Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Legal Bases (EEA/UK/CH)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases, depending on the processing:
- Consent (for example for certain advertising preferences via UMP, and optional telemetry/analytics or crash reporting where offered)
- Legitimate interests (for example to improve stability, prevent abuse, and maintain security, balanced against your rights)
- Contract / service delivery (to operate the app features you request)
You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, subject to product constraints.
Children's Privacy
Our applications are not specifically directed at children under 13. Age thresholds and protections can vary by region and product; we design our store listings and age ratings to reflect the intended audience.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.
Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect data.
However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
